It is a common perception in today’s politics that Imran Khan will change the politics in pakistan. or change the future of the Pakistan for the better.. So lets see how real is this thought or is it just like a new “roti, kapra, makaan” slogan (perception) for the innocent and believing masses of the Pakistan without any basis in the reality
So What will change?
Vision
Imran Khan number of time has said that he will have a single education system in Pakistan. Thats a very good thougth. Currently we have Matriculation, Madrassah & British O’ Level system in Pakistan. Now these three systems are quite extreme to each other. So i wander which system he will pick. I looked for the answer but i have failed to find any answer. If you have heard or read any statement by Imran Khan or PTI that with what education system they will replace the current tripartite system then i will be glad to know and will like to correct myself. For the purpose of keeping it short i m not going to other examples where he just made claims without any plan of action. So i feel he don’t have any plan it is just a perception.
Speeches
Now lets talk about him as a speaker.
So what Imran Khan talked about In Quetta jalsa? He said where is the money for the Baluchistan development is going. if i will come in power, economy will boast. and above all NAWAZ SHARIF is the cause of the problem in Balochistan. Now is there anything different than what Bilawal Zardari Bhutto would have talked about, had he addressed in Quetta or Larkana? Has there anything new other than making tall claims without any plan or vision and accusing the opponents. Nawaz Sharif might be an arch enemy of him, but he and his party has zero presence in Balochistan. Why tell the Baluchs about someone they hardly know. Balochistan is full of crisis and full of potential and i have heard and believed that PTI has a very learned team. It would have been my pleasure had Imran Khan proposed some plans for the development and advancement of Balochistan, prepapred and presented by his very talented and learned team.
Lets talk about Karachi address. Karachi land of lights which has been colored with blood because of few armed parties. What he talked there. Okay let me give you a hint, he didnt talk about Karachi’s problem’s solutions. He talked about Nawaz Sharif, yup. Seriously PTI supporter, is this is the best your party leader can do?? Does he have any vision or his eyes are fixed on Nawaz Sharif only.
So i don’t see any difference in the address and speeches he does and which are done by other parties, They also have same claims and statement and accusations. Perception is it has chance, Reality is nothing has changed.
Statements
Now come to countless bold statements he have given. Starting from his pre-significance era.
Claiming that he will get MQM be declared terrorist organization by the UK authorities. What happened.? He didnt even say a word on the firing which happened on Sindh Love rally which all the people know is done by MQM. But Imran Khan put the blame on Nawaz Sharif.
In Lahore Jalsa he declared that in 6 months if all the politicans do not declare their assets he will expose. I was really very happy and looking forward to it. 6 months passed nothing happened, rather many corrupt leader joined him. I think he forgot Nawaz Sharif to be blamed for it too.
Then he gave two dharnas in Peshawar & Karachi on the Nato Drone Attacks and Supplies. Drones attacks are still going on. in last week only 3 drone attacks happened.. any statement against them or the government by Imran Khan? Nope, Nada, non. Any statement by Imran Khan against Nawaz Sharif? Many.
We can continue on this.. but you get the idea. Show me only one plan of action where he said it and delivered it.
Actions
Now come to some of the very important fact. By the way i like to talk with facts & figures and if you have facts & figures then reply else dont bother. Because these statements matter nothing as i have shown earlier.
So Imran khan got elected in 2002 from his Mianwali seat. He remained memeber of the parliament for Five year.
Many bills were passed in that era and many things happened in that era. Starting from Drone strikes. Which started in 2004. Did Imran Khan said anything against it.? i have searched the web but i didnt find any statement by Imran Khan against drone attack while he was the member of the parliament. Were drone strike okay at that time. Even if he gave any statement, he did not resigned from parliament. WHY? why now he expect opposition to resign on every issue. Why in his time of being an MNA he never resigned while multiple instances of events happend. Starting from drone strike, Lal Masjid Operation, passing of bills. passing of NRO and other bills.? Did he approve all those things.?
Lets talk about now. This government is very corrupt. everyone knows. Corruption in Hajj, Corruption in Railways, in PIA in Rental Power almost in everything. I asked this question with many PTI supporter that Imran Khan has an awesome, learned, talented team. So how many corruption cases Imran Khan has taken to the court against the government. If not than what his learned, awesome, talented team is doing.? tapping thumbs or sleeping or too lazy to work anything?
Or PTI does not believe that the courts are independent now.? or CJ Iftikhar is biased against PTI?
Knowledge
Now lets talk about some of his knowledge. A bit while ago when he had an interview with Saleem Safi When Saleem safi asked why he pushed old people and brough forward new people.. he said Prophet(SAW) did that. and gave the example of Hazrat Umar (RA) where he does not even know the Hazrat Umar (RA) is considered to be 40th muslim and considered as one of the earliest muslims. All muslims before the battle of Badar are considered first phase muslims. Similarly if we have to divide PTI’s struggle into two parts earlier struggle & later struggle, we can put the mark around Lahore Jalsa. and now see that none of the top manager in the PTI current top regime was part of the PTI before PTI earlier struggle.
Shah Mehmood.
Javed Hashmi
Shafqat Cheema
Abrar ul Haq
Jahangir Khan Tareen
and the list continues
all of these people who are enjoying top posts, joined the party after the Lahore jalsa. They have not been through the struggle of the PTI. I respected the PTI struggle but now they have sold theirselves and it gives me sadness to say that i feel Imran Khan lies a lot.
Comparison with others
Now last argument which i get is that he has got a track record. Definitely Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital is a big achievement. and i salute him for this great charity work. But does that one thing make him a saint? We have Al-Khidmat Foundation, Khidmat-e-Khalq foundation, Al-rashid foundation and many other organizations doing some amazing social welfare works which were even praised by UN and other european organization when the flood and other catastrophe’s hit Pakistan. We know how their political wings do when they come in power. So i will just say dont be short sighted. SKMH is an achievement but behind it was mother’s love and that surely is very very strong.
But looking at Imran Khan impartially and realistically with the facts and figures of the ground i will just say A man full of vengeance is not a man, i want to lead my country. A Man full of hate is not a man, i want to lead my country, A man full of ignorance is not a man, i want to lead my country a man full of arrogance is not a man, i want to lead my country.
DO YOU want such a MAN to lead your country?

We all thought that democracy will bring some change because we have already hit the rock bottom in dictatorship.. but we saw that things can be more worse.. I just hope its not the same case if PTI comes in power that we see even further level of corruption & deterioration. Just give me one example where he has shown to be a better person than others.?

why should we try those whom have we tried agaun and again, and if billawal ot nawaz had the courage to go to quetta only then this stupid writers ideas might carry some points, and this stupid writers must keep in mind that in mush whole era there were seven drone attacks, and this stupid writer should again search the youtube and look for ik said in his public meatings against mush and his policies, what a lousy excuse by writer thatif nawaz or billawal could hold a jalsa in quetta they would have said the i am asking this srupid writer why are they not holding a jalsa there, and this stupid writer with extremely limited knowledge must recal the show of sana bucha in which ik said that he would bring altaf to court of justice, and also said that he would shoot down the drones, immature and stupid writing by an anti pakistan

Why Imran Khan did that?
1- Education Vision; Plan is not to make single system but about single curriculum taught through out Pakistan.
2- Speeches; It is ridiculous to discuss point of reforming Plan in front of mass in a jalsa who belong to a Nation where 80% people only knows how to write their name in Urdu.
3- Statements; Imran Khan is the only political leader in Pakistan who hold clear cut policy against politics of terror whether it is MQM or anyone else. Imran Khan is also single Politician who speak against drone here in Pakistan through press & protest rally and in international forums out side PK.
4- Action; Do you think realistically if IK resigned at that time drone strike, Lal Masjid Operation, passing of NRO would not happened, they were not able to do that or pass them.
5- Knowledge; Human made mistakes as IK never claimed he is very informative and belong to group of angels, Secondly PTI old leadership hold key post of ideological framework.
Chairman Imran Khan
Secretary General Dr. Arif Alvi
Senior Vice President Hamid Khan
Deputy Secretary General Imran Ismail
Deputy Information Secretary Faisal Javed Khan

1. What will be that single curriculum. Do you how many subjects are in Madrassas & in Matric & in O Level. Is O’Level students going to study a curriculum other than the one which will get them accepted in british/canadian/australian system??
2. I am asking what change is he bringing in the speeches.. if he has to go down at the level of the stupid n corrupt n insincere politicans then how can you gurantee that tomorrow he will when in power will not become stupid, corrupt n insincere. There is a saying that if a dog barks at you, you dont bark back. Secondly our masses maybe illiterate but they can understand things ONLY if you tell them.
Just a quote i will like to share
”Counting other people’s sins does not makes YOU a saint.”
3. why he just gave statements.. he promised to have a long march on next drone attack.. and if you have heard the latest bilawal bhutto talk on CNN he also protested against drone strikes.. Why not follow him.? he said it on the CNN.
4. There is small story i read sometime ago that when Hazrat Ibrahim(RA) was getting thrown into the fire a bird with few drops in its beak was flying towards the fire to quench it and save Hazrat Ibrahim(RA), so an angel asked it that u know it wont kill the fire the bird replied i have to take my actions and not see the consequences. Tomorrow you will say that my tax wont make a road in any village so why give tax.
5. How many of these are given due importance.. may be arif alvi..
Facts are infront of you brother. You want to accept them or not.. its your call.

1. we aren’t dragging british/canadian/australian system to our Madrasa level but will try our best to compete with their standard…
2. It is a Hadith that stop bad thing by what force, by argument or if you won’t have any these power at least call them bad.. So IK is doing right thing by calling corrupt peaople ”corrupt” and for your kind quote & example they are not barking dogs but corrupt people and we will condemn their activities at every level….
3. Don’t give us example of Bilawal Buttho he may be your hero not ours. His every single drop of blood have been nourished by sucking blood of poor people of Pakistan tax money… Do Some research before blaming IK about this topic.. He was there against Drone when this chick Bilawal Buttho mother was doing NRO with a Dictator Musharraf……
4. Don’t teach us history here…. You haven’t have knowledge about how taxation system works….
5. This blind love will make you Qadari soon..
If you are sincere with betterment of Pakistan than who you are voting for in up coming election…Noora Nawaz or Zardari hahaaha… i think you are with all time great leader Zordori…
I am voting For IK only…

If you look at the political scenario of Pakistan at the moment, It’s really hard to find any national level leader who can drag this country from such dire circumstances single handedly. Probably I would not be wrong, if I claim that Pakistan is facing it’s worst era after 1971 war (When Pakistan was of split between 2 parts). Now the question is how we as a nation would bring Pakistan back on track?
Without going into emotional and blind followership, I like to talk on some ground facts. But this is my personal analysis, so you have full right to reject it.
At the moment we have three options. Either go with PPP or PML-N or PTI, because only these three parties has a plan to contest the election across the country.
First take PTI. PTI nevertheless has worked really hard for the last few years but to me, they are the true beneficiaries, primarily due to friendly and lethargic reactions from the opposition against PPP govt. policies. So PTI filled this gap up to some extent. I have no doubt that the initial flight of PTI jet plan, with some unforseen helping hands, were marvelous. Lahore jalsa was supposed to be the turning point. People initially found PTI as a replacement for the two party system. During that time PTI has n’t been weigh with big names. So there was nothing to criticize on them. Imran Khan had read the minds and gave a perfect dream speech. (Where the key points of the speech were in reality next to impossible to come true) . So as soon as the political vultures saw the launching pad of new party, they flew from their nests and gathered around Imran Khan. Which I suppose was the biggest ever mistake as the PTI was highjacked on it’s very maiden flight. Anyway, politically it was a good move as IK needs them to win the election but impossible to bring a change in system with them. If we look at the ground reality of sweeping next election for PTI, PTI is gaining significant vote bank in KPK, probably it will win good margin of seats from KPK, provided if JUI, JI and PML-N will not make an alliance. Balochistan remains always in the hand of nationalist parties, so PTI has nothing to do over there. I don’t think PTI would win even a single seat from this province, if he will not make an alliance with any Balochistan nationalist party. In Sindh, I have n’t seen any dramatic uprise of PTI support from rural or urban areas. Beside Karachi Jalsa, PTI has n’t put an impression of winning party. MQM is the most dominant party in Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpur Khas, and some other rural areas besidePPP and nationalist parties. So more than 20 seats are almost confirm for them, if Jamat e Islami would not be able to give them a tough fight in Karachi. If PTI would go on solo flight in Sindh, as according to Imran Khan’s statement, then the result would be same as like Balochistan, but probably the voters turn round would be bit higher . In Punjab situation is quite different. You cant cast out the importance of PML-N vote bank. So over here PTI surely show some resistance as Imran Khan has gathered a bunch of sanctimonious people, but due to strong presence of PML-N and PPP vote factor will surely detriment it’s plan to win majority of seats, to my analysis PTI would win not more than 10-15 NA seats from Punjab. So the overall situation is quite hopeless, If PTI will go with solo flight. (Probable overall seats would be 25-30 NA seats)
For PML-N situation is not so good for them as well. Surely PTI is the biggest hurdle for them to wipeout the election. PTI will play the same role as like PML-Q has played in the last election. In the 2008 election PML-N would won 15-20 more seats if votes were not divided between Q & N. (Check 2008 election results) So this time PTI will help this cause . In Punjab PML-N though will suffer at some margin but because of poor performance of PPP, probably they would gain seats from those areas, where PPP has won previously. KPK has already lost its charm for PML-N because of Hazara issue, but may be they will bounce back, as election is still 1 year ahead. In Balochistan, as I said if nationalist party give their support, PML-N will gain seats from there, as JWP, and Mahmood Achakzai has shown soft corner for Nawaz Sharif. PML-N has righteously focused on Sindh, which surely has a party gap because of dismal performance of PPP. Nationalist party putting their weight with PML-N so in rural areas, NS will gain some seats (Leaving MQM with their confirm seats). So over all PML-N would gain bit higher seat margin then now (probably 90-105)but to my suspect they would not be able to form govt. solely.
PPP has put a total base on PTI . Either you accept it or not, it will be PTI who will become a support for PPP. Simple reason is, PPP has always won the election, when the votes of the right wing have been divided. Check the facts of 1988, 1994 and 2008 election. PTI will become the reason to split the votes and eventually PPP will gain the profit. PPP govt. was not able to form in 2008, even after having the assassination of Benazir Bhutto, but it was actually PML-Q, who gave a strong punch to PML-N. But still PPP is still capable enough to gain 40-50 NA seats. But if PTI factor affects on larger scale, this number will be higher, and who knows PPP with MQM, ANP and JUI will again be in the govt. So thing wisely.
Leaving this discussion for the users, that which party is the most neat and clean and who have been tested or not, I request you all, to please use your power of votes amicably. Your vote will surely play a vital role for the future of Pakistan. Though it is inevitable that no party will wipe out the upcoming election, and the next election would bring hung parliament. But please do analyze it before blindly following some one, that are you really becoming unconsciously a part of bringing the same corrupt party again or do you really want a true majority govt. who can run the country without exploiting by the hands of its alliances. Regards Ilyas Masood

Brother i have not done any comparison of Imran Khan or PTI with other parties. I have just taken an independent view on the Imran Khan’s PTI with the slogan of CHANGE and tried to test if PTI of Imran Khan has brought any change in the existing norms & traditions.

great article and analysis of PTI but i disagree with ur comparison of Alkhidmat foundation with MQM kkf.kkf is restricted to karachi and it is mostly show i don’t know any large project of KKf but Alkhdmat on ther other hand is one of the most credible and nationwide biggest welfare org of Pakistan is i live in gujrat district and here Alkhidmat has 4 hospitals and many dispensaries and also schools.it completed rehabilitation of azad Kashmir earthquake victims last december with 8000 homes and many model villages at a cost of 7 billion rupees no other NGO was donated tht much money for earthquake relief.and the list of Alkhidmat’s khidmat in every sector goes on if we go by social work PTI or any other party cannot match statistically match Jamaat e Islami.

Very good approach Caylu , I will not write a lot but few lines that; don’t you see when you write about a credible person , people do come forward and defend Imran’s ideology and manifesto ? I would love to read your blog on Mian NS and Others , lets see how much biased or non-biased you were in your writing.

@Zam
Firstly about other politicians are already in the business for some reasonable time. Secondly they have not give any new slogan to the people of Pakistan. Imran Khan or PTI has come with one strong slogan, “CHANGE”. So i m in search of wot CHANGE PTI is going to bring in the politics, in the society or in the government.
Secondly i have written couple of critical blogs on NS and his policies of cowardness and sillyness. If PML(N) or PPP come up with some new agenda or slogan then i will definitely like to evaluate too.

Well written and a very balanced approach. I can’t agree more. Mostly comments are made by ppl who belong to the school of thought that encourages the attitude, ‘either you are with us or against us’. As a nation we have gone so deep into personality worship that a rational analysis is beyond comprehension … if it wasn’t a party based democracy choosing the most capable person from each constitution could have been an excellent choice.
